Taking a TABC course. How do you choose?

Have you taken an online TABC course before? If you work as a seller or server in a restaurant in the state of Texas chances are, the answer is yes. But how do you decide which one to take when there are so many options?

Lucky for you we have gone through a lot of these courses. A simple google search will show you a multitude of courses available to take. Most say the same thing and are all around the same price and time. All TABC course are required by the state to have a certain amount of hours and have specific content. Therefor, the first thing you should look for when choosing a course is IS IT STATE CERTIFIED? This should be stated on the front page and if it isn’t, move along.

The next step should be finding one that works for your time schedule. Some TABC course can be done in a classroom and some are online. Choose what version you think is best for your schedule. If you do decide to choose an online course, check to see if your course is mobile compatible. If your only plan is to take the course on your desktop, no worries. Otherwise, if you would like to take the course on your phone or tablet, you will need to see if the course you choose is compatible.

Once you have narrowed these down its time to get more picky. Look at the content of the site. Does it seem entertaining? Easy to understand? At Comedytabc.com we hired professional comedians to write our site so it would be both entertaining and informative.

So what are you waiting for? Now that you know what you should look for in a course its time to sit back, register and begin your TABC course.
